தமிழ்நாடு அரசும் TASMAC சரக்கும்

Have you ever wondered why there are so much liquor shops in TamilNadu and there are more water in TASMAC shops than in TN houses?

There are some hidden truths behind this. Do you know what TamilNadu’s financial Budget is?? It is approximately 1 lakh crores. Out of which 18,450 crores comes from TASMAC. In every rupee that government spends 20 paise comes from selling liquor to its own people. Will any government do this? It happens only in India.

A government which has to open schools and colleges is opening liquor shops in every street and rowdies and social evils who has to sell liquor illegally are opening schools and colleges. Funny but a sad truth.

TASMAC (TamilNAdu State Marketing Corporation Ltd) buys Brandy, Whiskey, beer from other breweries and distilleries located in and around the state. Who actually owns this BREWERIES and distilleries? Who else than our ministers and party heads.

There are 4 to 5 main distilleries in TamilNadu to whom TASMAC regularly gives order. Now Tamilan has varying taste and kind so they can’t supply same brand. Also the thirst of each young individual in TamilNAdu is so high that a single brewery or distillery can full fill his thirst. So TASMAC gives orders to various suppliers for various brands of Liqours.

So there are about 6 distilleries in TN presently out of which 2 may be independent or private. Remaining 4 belong to our political parties.

Let’s start with ruling party. Started in 2001 just after AIADMK came to power and TASMAC became selling liquor. Its owner is undoubtly, who else Sasi madam. Her relative is the MD and interestingly there is a liquor factory in his name too. Started in the name of Golden Distilleries it has become now MIDAS GOLDEN DISTILLERY.

Next one comes our another major party. Their distillery is as much as an empire. Owned by benamis of former union minister Mr. T.R.Baalu who himself is the director of the Distillery.

In fact in the DMK regime had issued five licences to start distilleries, four of which went to people with party connections.

While Baalu is a director in one company, Kalaignar tv CEO Sarath Kumar has a stake in another. The fifth licence went to a person who got it only
after the Madras High Court’s intervention.

Tropical Breweries Kalaingar Tv CEO is still in Tihar jail .

AM Associates, an off-shoot of Elite Distilleries run by family members of Union minister S Jagathratchagan.

SNJ Distilleries Private Limited, owned by N Jayamurugan, who produced two films, 'Penn Singam' and 'Uliyin Osai', for which former chief minister M Karunanidhi penned the script, has the fourth license.

Coming to the money generated by these distilleries, they are huge not in crores but in thousands of crores.

Doing a simple math, the average profit for TASMAC in this financial year is 18000 crores. The same profit would certainly be there with the companies which manufacturesv liquor also.

A profit of 18000 crores / year is shared by 5 liqour companies or by politicians.

In the present AIADMK regime MIDAS refinery enjoys 20% market share of the total sales. 20% x 18000 = 3600 crores per year.

Even if we put as remaining is shared by other companies it comes to approximately 2000 crores/year/ company.

So in a span of 5 yr, a ruling party company will earn about 18000 crores and all others will earn atleast 10000 crores each.

From where does all these money comes.?  These politicians in Tamilnadu has learnt a new way to exploit us. All from the young Indians and those poor people of TamilNadu. These politicians are making a young generation as slaves to liquor. In the course they are making us not to think and making us foolish. மது மூளையை மங்க செய்யும் . Liqour is the first and primary cause for all the social evils.

I go with words of Thala Ajith said in one of this interviews “Please Don’t push be up the ladder or pull me down, Allow me to work that is enough, I know how to come up”.

GCT Hostel and Girly Ghost

Do you know why GCT Girls hostel is closed at 6.00 P.M and opened again in morning 6.00 A.M. It is not to protect the girls after the sunset from the social evils, but it is to protect the young women from another woman. YES a woman actually but a DEAD woman who still stays there and floats around in the night as GHOST

About 40 odd years ago, our college was away from the then city and there were very few town buses. There were used to be families living around the college and one such family is Ramachandran and Bhavani’s family.

Chandran is a daily wages worker working in our college and Bhavani was a housewife. Suddenly one day, there was a storm in their peaceful life. Bhavani was pregenant and was in her later stages of pregnancy trying to give birth to a beautiful child. Both wife and her husband relished about this and they were very happy. Bhavani used to take water to her home from a well that is situated behind the administrative block in the campus.

It was in the early periods of south west monsoon and clouds were dark, indicating that they may are soon going to open up the skies sending rain to the mother earth, Bhavani hurriedly after cooking for dinner, went on to take water. It was then, the rain started and skies became suddenly dark. She was drenched and somehow she managed to reach the well.

But there were some men, who were drunk and lost their minds. Unthinkable happened. Bhavani was abused, unable to escape from the brutal tortures of the men, Blood rushed to her heart and unable to protect herself and her child, she tried to save her dignity in front of hose men. She Jumped into the well and died herself. Her body was taken out next day and cremated in the campus itself. The men responsible was handed over to the police and legal action were taken against them.

Poor Bhavani. For a women, who had so many wishes and dreams, dying at a young age dint rest her soul. She started appearing there afterwards in the campus and many started seeing her during night. Watchmen were horrified, when they started hearing cries of a young woman in the middle of the night. It is then, they realised that Bhavani never left the campus and she hangs around to take revenge of the men. To do that have also haunted the girls studying the college. It is then, after a while, the then principal of the college closed the well and planted trees. But still there were instances now and then about the lady.

Guys our college as not as you see today in 1960’s there were no trees when the college was inaugurated. You can see these rare photos in our geology lab. Our campus was பொட்டல் காடு back then. The very first hostel constructed was our boys third year hostel Vaigai, when was inaugurated along with the college. Later when the second hostel was build it was named as Bhavani in the memory of lady who died. Later when the hostel were built they made named it after a river in accordance with bhavani.

When the first women hostel was built they name it Amaravathi, Amaran- without death vathi- girl/women in synchronous with the river names. In the early days of Amaravathi hostel, they were so afraid that they locked the hostel before sun sets and made sure none of the girls left the hostel during night, and it still continues.
Now Kothiayaru hostel is the place where the family lived, and even today at midnights you can here cries of women behind the kitchen of the kothaiyaru hostel. There were number of sucides in Kothiyaru hostel in the past years after it has been constructed most of them were attributed to the Bhavani.

Have you guys/girls ever taken the road that is opposite to the hostel office that goes straight behind the vaigai and kothaiyaru hostel???? Don’t ever take that road because it is where Bhavani used to come everynight in search of the guys who abused her and cries everynight with her baby for the loss of her life.

Do you girls remember a old patti ma in kothiyaru hostel???? Ask her whether my story is true or not. She will tell you more real stories then this. She was with bhavani when she lived and she knows many stories of the what happened in and out of our college, because she lives in our college for its history.

And the WELL, it still stoods there, surrounded by the full grown trees and lush forest. Its difficult to spot. But if you walk from the mail hostel gate, just before the kothaiyaru, towards left you can find it.
If you happen to see BHAVANI somewhere sometime tell her you are married, else she may even get you!!!!!
